REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Unsnap ends of strap and component escutcheon.
2. Screws from strap.
3. Strap from trim panel.

NOTICE:  If removing trim panel, perform steps 4, 5 and 6.

4. Switch plate assembly.
5. Screw from switch plate cutout and hanger plate.
6. Screw from extension bracket and hanger plate nut.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

NOTICE:  If only strap was removed, perform steps 4, 5 and 6 only.

1. Screw to extension bracket and hanger plate nut.
2. Screw to switch plate cutout and hanger plate.
3. Switch plate assembly.
4. Strap to trim panel.
5. Screws to strap.

TIGHTEN

Screws to 3 Nm (27 lb. in.).

6. Tuck ends of strap under component escutcheon and snap into place to secure.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Trim cover.
2. Retractor cover.
