Suction Tube (Evaporator to Accumulator)
A/C System Plumbing
Tool Required:

J 39500 R-134a Refrigerant Recovery, Recycling and Recharging (ACR4) System
Remove or Disconnect
1. Recover refrigerant.
2. Block fitting at the evaporator.
3. Raise vehicle.
4. Right front tire/wheel.
5. Partially remove splash shield from fascia.
6. Suction tube (evaporator to accumulator) at accumulator.
7. Suction Tube.
Important

Remove and discard all used O-ring seals and sealing washers.

Replace with new O-ring seals and sealing washers.
Install or Connect
1. Suction Tube.
2. Suction tube (evaporator to accumulator) to accumulator.
Tighten
^
Nut to 23.5 N.m (17 lb ft).
