Front Suspension
REMOVAL PROCEDURE

J 6627-A Wheel Stud Remover
-
J 28733-A Front Hub Spindle Remover
1. Remove the hub and bearing assembly. Refer to Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement.
2. Remove the wheel stud (1) from the hub and bearing assembly (2) using the J 6627-A. Discard the stud.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. install the new wheel stud (1) into the hub and bearing assembly (2).
2. Install flat washers (3) and a nut (flat side down) onto the wheel stud, and tighten until the wheel stud (1) is fully seated.
3. Install the hub and bearing assembly. Refer to Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement.
4. Check the front wheel alignment. Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications.
