Control Arm Bushing: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

J 29792 Receiver

J 29792 Lower Control Arm Front Bushing Service Set

J 41211 Lower Control Arm Rear Vertical Bushing Service Set

1. Remove the lower control arm. Refer to Lower Control Arm Bushings Replacement (Control Arm Replacement).
2. Install the punch from J 29792 thru J 29792 and position the receiver J 29792 on the opposite side of the control arm.
3. Press out bushing using an arbor press.

4. Remove lower control arm front bushings (1) from the control arm (2).

5. Coat the threads of J 29792 with an extreme pressure lubricant.

Remove lower control arm rear bushings (3) from the control arm (4).
