Knock Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Raise vehicle and suitably support.
2. Knock sensor electrical connector.
3. Knock sensor from engine block.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Knock sensor. Make sure threads are clean.

Tighten
Tighten to 15 - 22 Nm (11 - 16 lb. ft.). 

2. Knock sensor electrical connector.
3. Lower vehicle.
