Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview
PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. Check ENG/A/C Fuse by visual inspection.
2. Check Fusible Link F by visual inspection.
3. If the Coolant Fan(s) run with the Ignition Switch in "OFF," check CKT 409 and CKT 532 for a short to Battery. If the wires are OK, replace the
suspect Coolant Fan Relay.

Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove it "GOOD" in a
continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be
checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
