Throttle Body: Description and Operation
Mass Air Flow Sensor
The throttle body has a throttle valve to control the amount of air delivered to the engine. The Throttle Position (TP) sensor, Mass Air Flow (MAF)
sensor and Idle Air Control (IAC) valve are also mounted on the throttle body.
Vacuum ports located behind the throttle valve provide the vacuum signals needed by various components.
