CONDITION:
A squeak or itch (plastic to plastic sound) may be heard in the instrument panel (IP) area of the 1987 to 1989 Cutlass Ciera.
CAUSE:
The instrument cluster lens is not properly retained to the cluster body, and may cause an itch or squeak. This condition was corrected with the following

CORRECTION:
1.
Disconnect negative battery cable.
2.
Remove the instrument cluster following Service Manual instructions.
