SUBJECT:
GROWL/VIBRATION REAR TRANSMISSION GROUND OUT (REPLACE TRANSMISSION MOUNT)

MODELS:
1992-94 BUICK CENTURY 
1992-94 OLDSMOBILE CUTLASS CIERA WITH 3.1L (RPO L82) OR 3.3L (RPO LG7) V-6 ENGINES

CONDITION:
Some vehicles assembled prior to VIN breakpoints indicated below, may exhibit a growl and/or vibration felt through the vehicle floor pan apparent
when operated in reverse under moderate to heavy throttle application.

CAUSE:
Rear transmission mount interlock hook grounds out/contacts mount interlock window providing a path for engine noise and/or vibration.

CORRECTION:
Replace the existing rear transmission mount with a new component, P/N 22145832, following applicable Service Manual procedure, Section 7A,
Automatic Transaxle On-Vehicle Service.
