thread lockers or thread sealant. UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED, do not use supplemental coatings (paints, greases, or other corrosion inhibitors)
on threaded fasteners or fastener joint interfaces. Generally, such coatings adversely affect the fastener torque and the joint clamping force, and may
damage the fastener. When you install fasteners, use the correct tightening sequence and specifications. Following these instructions can help you
avoid damage to parts and systems.
1. Front - rear wheel spindle rod.
2. Bolt/screw and nut to frame. Do NOT tighten at this time.
3. Bolt/screw and nut at knuckle using thread locker, GM P/N 1052624 (or equivalent).

Tighten rear wheel spindle rod to suspension support nut to 150 Nm (111 ft. lbs.).

Tighten bolt/screw to knuckle to 240 Nm (177 ft. lbs.).
4. Install fuel tank. Refer to Powertrain Management.
5. Brake lines to rear suspension support. Refer to Brakes and Traction Control.
6. Tire and wheel.
7. Lower vehicle.
