Disassemble end cap by bending retainer tabs outward and remove end cap from armature shaft (see Figure 1). Do not remove armature.
3.
Spray "spray on" 2002 T.F. electrical contact and tape head cleaner or equivalent on clean cloth and wipe commutator clean.
4.
Check armature for open circuit or ground.
5.
Install new motor end cap, P/N 22038791.
6.
Install ground cup, P/N 22048623.
