Delta 88 V6-3800 3.8L (1988)
^
If all voltages are correct and relay does not operate, check that terminal 5 (BLK) is grounded at G103. If ground is good, replace Blower Relay.
^
If the voltage at a terminal is not correct, check the circuit at the terminal.
Test A: Blower Motor Test
Check Fuse 7. Measure the voltages to ground at the Blower Motor with the connectors in place.
Test A Blower Motor Test
^
If voltages are correct, but motor does not run, install a new Blower Motor.
^
If Battery voltage is not at the PPL wire (65), check the wire for opens. Also run the A/C Mode Selector and the Blower Relay Tests.
^
If Battery voltage is present at the BLK wire (150), check that the BLK wire (150) is grounded at G103.
Test B: A/C Mode Selector Test
Backprobe connector C1 to the Heater and A/C Control Assembly and measure the voltage to ground with the connector still in place.
Test B A/C Mode Selector Test
^
If Battery voltage is at terminal E, but not at terminal D, repair or replace Heater and A/C Control Assembly Mode Selector.
^
If Battery voltage is not present at terminal E, check the BRN wire (50) for an open circuit back to Fuse 7.
Test C: Blower Switch Test
1. Remove the connector from the Blower Resistor Assembly. Measure the voltage to ground at the following terminals of the connector.
