Remove fender covers and close hood.
CAMPAIGN IDENTIFICATION LABEL
Each label provides space to print the campaign number, and the five (5) digit dealer code of the dealer performing the campaign. Insert this information
with a typewriter or ballpoint pen. When installing label, clean and dry the surface of the radiator support tie bar and apply the campaign label where it is
readily visible.
PARTS INFORMATION
To ensure parts are obtained as soon as possible, order them from GM, Service Parts Operations (GMSPO) on a C.I.O. order, with NO special
instruction code, but order on an advise code (2). Use the following part number:

REIMBURSEMENT
Claims for customer reimbursement of reasonable charges for previously paid repairs to replace the Canister TVS, are to be submitted using Labor
Operation T4650 and Trouble Code 96. Total reimbursement amount requested should be shown in the sublet column. Do NOT list parts or labor.
Claims must be supported by documentation that reasonably:
(1) discloses the associated repair expenses incurred to replace the Canister
TVS, (2) identifies the entry or person who performed the repairs, (3)
identifies the date of such repairs, and (4) discloses the amount of
unreimbursed repair expenses actually paid by the owner. Owners must
provide original or certified receipts that are to be retained in the dealer files.
Zone authorization will NOT normally be required; however, if owners requesting reimbursement do not have proper documentation, or the dealer
considers the owner's repair expense to be abnormally high, dealers should contact their zone personnel for a review of the owner's request.
When a customer submits a claim for prior replacement of the Canister TVS, dealers are to CONFIRM that TVS P/N 22536551 is in fact on the vehicle
by performing the inspection operation called for in Step (2) of the SERVICE PROCEDURE section in this bulletin. If the Canister TVS is found to
have a red or white top, the campaign part is to be installed. The appropriate Labor Operation may then be submitted. This last paragraph applies only if
the vehicle is still available for inspection.
