Muffler: Service and Repair

REMOVAL 

1. Support intermediate pipe/resonator assembly.

2. Cut intermediate pipe/resonator assembly as shown. 
3. Muffler hangers and muffler.

INSTALLATION 

1. Muffler and hangers.
2. Intermediate pipe/resonator assembly to muffler.
3. Align muffler and intermediate pipe/resonator assembly to proper clearance.
4. "U" bolt type clamp. Tighten clamp nuts to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
