Condition
Some owners may comment on a light rattle in the area of the trim escutcheon manual lock/unlock slider button on the front doors while driving over
rough or bumpy roads.
Cause
1.
The white plastic insert on the vertical rod that connects to the manual lock/unlock rod rattles due to excessive clearance.
2.
The end of the manual lock/unlock rod that interfaces with the trim escutcheon manual lock/unlock slider button is missing its yellow cap.
Correction
1.
Remove door trim panel and water deflector. Refer to Section 10-6 in the Service Manual.
2.
Determine cause of rattle.
