Hole in right-hand side of plenum must be used for transmission removal. Rotate transmission as necessary to extract from plenum.
4. Six screws (15) and transmission (16) from vehicle.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
TOOL REQUIRED:
J 39529 Wiper Transmission Installer
NOTE: Refer to the Fastener Notice in the GENERAL INFORMATION .
1. Transmission (16) on vehicle with six screws (15).
Tighten
-
Screws (17) to 8 N.m (70 lb. in.).
2. Transmission drive link (K) socket to wiper motor assembly crank arm ball using J 39529. Be sure socket is fully seated on ball.
3. Air inlet screen.
4. Wiper arm and blade assemblies.
