Vacuum Brake Booster: Service and Repair
Vacuum Brake Booster Hose Replacement (3800 V6 RPO Code L36)
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the vacuum hose (2) from vacuum brake booster (1).
2. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair.
3. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the intake manifold.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the vacuum hose to the intake manifold.
2. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair.
