Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Raise and support the vehicle. 
2. Disconnect the rear stabilizer shaft link from the strut.
3. Remove the rear stabilizer shaft link nut.
4. Remove the stabilizer shaft link (2) from the stabilizer shaft (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE    

NOTICE:  Always use the correct fastener in the proper location. When you replace a fastener, use ONLY the exact part number for that application.
The manufacturer will call out those fasteners that require a replacement after removal. The manufacturer will also call out the fasteners that require
thread lockers or thread sealant. UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED, do not use supplemental coatings (paints, greases, or other corrosion inhibitors)
on threaded fasteners or fastener joint interfaces. Generally, such coatings adversely affect the fastener torque and joint clamping force, and may
damage the fastener. When you install fasteners, use the correct tightening sequence and specifications. Following these instructions can help you
avoid damage to parts and systems.

1. Install the stabilizer shaft link (2) to the stabilizer shaft (3). 

Tighten
Tighten the stabilizer shaft link nut to 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.).

2. Connect the stabilizer shaft link to the strut. 

Tighten 
Tighten the stabilizer shaft link to strut bolt to 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.).

3. Lower the vehicle.

Stabilizer Shaft Link Shield Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Raise and support the vehicle. 
2. Disconnect the rear stabilizer shaft link (2) from the stabilizer shaft (3).
3. Remove the rear stabilizer shaft shield (1) from the rear stabilizer shaft end (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the rear stabilizer shaft shield (1) to the rear stabilizer shaft end (3).
