Intrigue V6-3.8L VIN K (1998)
1. Turn the ignition to ACC.
2. Install and connect the park lock cable to the ignition switch.
3. Connect the park lock cable to the pedal bracket.
IMPORTANT: Do not bend the cable less than a 102.00 mm (4 inch) radius during installation, the cable is not to be kinked or damaged.
4. Install and route the park lock cable behind the accelerator pedal linkage and accelerator pedal bracket.
5. Install and route the park lock cable beneath the heater duct.
6. Install and connect the park lock cable to the shift control and the bracket.
7. Verify the function of the park lock system.
8. Install the steering column opening filler and knee bolster bracket.
9. Remove the steering column opening filler.
10. Install the front floor console trim plate.
11. Release the park brake and remove the wheel blocks.
