Windshield Reveal Molding Replacement
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
IMPORTANT:

Be sure to dry fit the windshield reveal molding to the windshield then as an assembly on the body prior to actual installation.

When replacing the windshield, the original windshield reveal molding cannot be reused and must be replaced with a new windshield reveal
molding.
^
New windshield reveal moldings are primed and will adhere to the urethane adhesive.
^
A heat lamp may be used to make the windshield reveal molding more pliable.
^
The windshield reveal molding cannot be replaced without removing the windshield.
Windshield Reveal Molding Replacement: Removal Procedure
1. Using a flat-bladed tool, carefully pry the end of the windshield reveal molding out about 75 mm (3 inches).
2. Grasp the windshield reveal molding and slowly pull the windshield reveal molding away from the body.
3. Remove the windshield.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Windshield Reveal Molding Replacement: Installation Procedure
1. Starting from the center of the windshield hand press the reveal molding into place on the windshield.
Tape the windshield reveal molding to keep it flush with the windshield if necessary.
2. Dry fit the windshield, with the reveal molding installed, to the body prior to actual installation.
3. Install the windshield.
