Air Bag Control Module: Service and Repair
Remove or Disconnect
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
Disable SIR system, refer to Disabling the SIR System. See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dash Board / Instrument Panel/Air Bag(s)
Arming and Disarming
1. The front seat - RH.
2. The front sill plate - RH.
3. Lift up the carpet and the sound deadener.
4. The Connector Position Assurance (CPA) and the electrical connector.
5. The fasteners from the inflatable restraint sensing and diagnostic module.
6. The inflatable restraint sensing and diagnostic module from the vehicle.
