Ignition Coil: Electrical Specifications

IGNITION COIL RESISTANCE

Primary Resistance .......................................................................................................................................................................................0.5 - 0.9 ohms 
Secondary Resistance ...........................................................................................................................................................................5,000 - 8,000 ohms 

NOTE:  Primary resistance measured between the two coil primary power wires on each coil.

NOTE:  Secondary resistance measured across each coil's two towers with coil removed from vehicle.
