CONDITION:

Some 1990 Silhouettes with Electronic Level Control (RPO G67) and assembled prior to LT308585 may exhibit a "loose lumber" noise coming from the
rear of the vehicle. This condition is sensitive to vehicle loading and may not be apparent when vehicle is not loaded to the equivalent of a five passenger
ballast condition.

CAUSE:

Impact of the rear shock absorber lower conical retainer with the encapsulated metal mounting surface of the upper shock absorber mount.
