Rear
1.
Lubricate sliding surfaces and mount insulators on caliper bracket, as needed.
2.
Position caliper on mounting bracket ensuring insulators and retaining bolt boots remain in position.
3.
Coat mounting bolts with thin film of brake lubricant, install bolts and torque bolts to 63 ft. lbs.
4.
Install brake hose using new sealing washers and torque fitting bolt to 15 ft. lbs.
5.
Install parking brake lever as follows:
a. Lubricate lever seal and anti-friction washer.
b. Install washer, seal and parking brake lever.
c. Move lever off stop, hold lever and torque retaining nut to 35 ft. lbs., then rotate lever against stop.
6.
Install spring and damper, connect parking brake cable, then secure assembly with retaining clip, if used.
7.
Tighten brake cable at equalizer until parking brake lever moves off stop, then loosen cable until lever just contacts stop.
8.
Install wheels and lower vehicle, fill master cylinder, and bleed brakes as needed. Do not attempt to move vehicle until brake pedal has been
moved several times and full braking action is restored.
