Instrument Cluster / Carrier: Service and Repair

1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Remove three plates, Fig. 1, then the instrument cluster visor.
3.
Remove three instrument cluster retaining screws, then move steering column to its lowest level.
4.
Remove instrument cluster filler strip, the the left front panel and five retaining screws on center front panel.
5.
Remove two screws from upper corners of cluster, then tilt cluster out.
6.
Disconnect connector and speedometer cable and lift cluster out and upward.
7.
Reverse procedure to install. Ensure speedometer cable is making proper engagement.
