These supplemental instructions are to be used when installing fog liglit kit PIN 9682.72 on 405 "DL" models.

PROCEDURE:
-
Open fuse box door, unplug blue connector (P706F).
-
Remove wire 150A (brown) from pin A1. Cut off terminal, strip wire and crimp a 6542.32 terminal (wire barrel 3 insulation barrel 5 on Proner
crimping tool). Insert into pin 2 of relay connector, P/N 6541.94. Plug blue connector back into fuse box.

Unplug red connector (P706E) next to blue connector.

Remove wire M15 (or M27A) from pin A7. Cut off terminal, strip wire, and crimp a 6542.32 terminal (wire barrel 3, insulation barrel 5 on Proner
crimping tool). Insert into pin 2 of relay connector, P/N 6541.94.

Remove wire 1C from pin B7. Cut off terminal, strip wire, and crimp a 6542.30 terminal (wire barrel 5, insulation barrel 6 on Proner crimping
tool). Insert into pin 3 of relay connector, P/N 6541.94.

Remove wires 151M and 151R from pins A3 and A2. Cut off terminals, strip wires, and double crimp them into one terminal P/N, 6542.53 (wire
barrel 5, insulation barrel 6 on Proner crimping tool). Insert into fuse holder, P/N 6542.46. Plug red connector back into fuse box

Make up a 200mm length of 2mm(2) (14 gauge) wire. Strip both ends. On one end crimp a 6542.30 terminal (wire barrel 5, insulation barrel 6 on
Proner crimping tool) and insert it into pin 5 of relay connector P/N 6541.94. On the other end of this wire, crimp a 6542.56 terminal (wire barrel
3, insulation barrel 5 on Proner crimping tool) and insert it into the other end of fuse holder, P/N 6542.46.

Insert the relay (*) supplied in kit into relay connector. At this point, test installation before installing fuse:

Turn headlights ON. Turn fog light switch ON. Using a 12V test light, check for current at fuse holder (wire from relay connector)

Insert a 10 amp fuse, P/N 6504.30.

Insert plastic support clip, P/N 6995.05, into available hole behind
"lights left on" buzzer (upper left corner above fuse box); hang relay connector onto clip.

Wire-tie wires near fuse box connectors.

Close fuse box. Turn off fog light switch and headlight switch
NOTE:
With fuse box door open, wires may be tight with relay in this location

If the relay supplied is equipped with an "L" bracket, the bracket must be removed.
