If micro switch has been removed, install switch onto throttle body housing, with contact arm shaft toward housing.
2.
Connect return springs and a test light to micro switch electrical connector, Fig. 9.
3.
Loosen nut on contact screw, Fig. 10, then bring contact screw onto contact arm of micro switch until test light comes on or shows a resistance
below one ohm. Do not turn screw more than 1/4 of a turn beyond this point.
4.
Tighten contact screw nut. Allow engine to idle and ensure test light remains on.

1.
Remove the tamper resistant plug from screw (3), then loosen screw until it no longer touches lever (4), Fig. 11.
2.
Insert a .002 inch (.05mm), feeler gauge between lever (4) and screw (3).
3.
Tighten screw (3), until the slightest pressure is applied to the feeler gauge, without moving lever (4). The feeler gauge must be free to move
between lever and screw, without moving lever.
4.
Remove the feeler gauge, then tighten screw an additional 1/4 turn.
5.
Lock the screw with a drop of hard duty Loctite, then adjust throttle switch unit.
