Oil Thermoswitch, Air Injection: Testing and Inspection
Oil Thermoswitch Check (604 only)
NOTE:
Engine temperature should be below 60-68 F (16-20 C).
Procedure
1. Connect a test lamp between battery positive post and ground leads of the two electro valves.
2. Turn ignition on. Test lamps should light. If lamp does not light, remove for bench testing.

3. Connect test lamp as shown in Fig. 7. Lamp should light with water temperature below 6O-68 F (16-2O C). Lamp should not light above this
temperature. Replace defective switch.
