REPAIR:
-
Disconnect battery
-
Remove relay bracket and protector bag from firewall just above fuse box
-
Locate starter relay (wire nos. 46A, 46, 45, 32A, and M) and remove plug
-
Remove wire number 45 from pin 5 of the existing starter relay and install it in bypass relay connector pin 1 (Bosch relay pin no. 86)
To
release the double lock terminal from the connector socket:
A.
Push the wire and terminal all the way up into this socket
B.
Insert a small flat-bladed screwdriver in center of the terminal and pull wire down; hold the wire in this position and remove
