1)

1982 and 83 505 gas automatic transmission models can be retrofitted with the late 1984 model 29 tooth speedo driven pinion P/N 2639.08. A
new lower speedo cable P/N 6123.49 is also required when using new type speedo driven pinion.

2)

1984 505 gas automatic transmission models up to V.I.N. 0348081 can be retrofitted with the late 1984 model 29 tooth speedo driven pinion P/N
2639.08. A new lower speedo cable is not required.
