With Pulse Air Feeder

MODELS W/PULSE AIR FEEDER
1.
Disconnect PAF to air cleaner hose.
2.
With engine running, place hand over hose and check for suction. If no suction is evident, check hose for leaks and replace if necessary.
With Out Pulse Air Feeder
1.
Start and run engine at idle.
2.
Disconnect air hose from reed valve.
3.
Place hand on reed valve intake port. Suction should be felt. If not, the reed valve is defective, requiring replacement.
4.
Also, check to ensure that no exhaust is emitted through the valve intake port. If blow back occurs, replace reed valve.
