This bulletin is being issued to update the Feedback Carburetor System Diagnostic Procedure Charts in the following 1985 Import Service Manuals:
1.
1985 Colt Service Manual, publication #81-270-5011, pages 14- 30 to 14-32.
2.
1985 Colt Vista Service Manual, publication #81-270-5012, pages 14-19 to 14-22.
3.
1985 Ram 50 Service Manual, publication #81-370-5015, pages 14-18 and 14-19.
Glue or staple the attached replacement pages, which provide the revised specifications, in the appropriate service manual.

FBC System Inspection (Ram 50)
INSPECTION OF FBC SYSTEM
If FBC system components (sensors, carburetor control unit - computer, solenoid, etc.) fail, interruption of fuel supply or failure to supply proper amount
of fuel for engine operating conditions will result. Therefore, the following situations will be encountered.
(1)
Engine is hard to start or does not start at all.
(2)
Unstable idle.
(3)
Poor driveability.
If any of above conditions is noted, first perform basic engine checks (ignition system malfunctions, incorrect engine adjustment, etc.). the FBC system
can be checked by use of voltmeter. Inspection procedure as follows.
