Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair

1.
Using a suitable screwdriver, pry oil seal out. Use caution not to nick or damage crankshaft flange seal surface.
2.
Place tool L-4455-1 over crankshaft, Fig. 20.
3.
Place replacement oil seal over tool and tap seal into position with a mallet.
