1.

Remove air cleaner assembly, vacuum hoses, etc.

2.

Locate and center punch 1/4" from end of mixture screw housing. The center punch mark should be indexed at about the 2:00 o'clock position (see
Figure 2).

3.

Using a 3/16" drill bit, drill through the outer section of the mixture screw housing at the center punch mark.

4.

If the concealment plug does not pop out when the drill bit enters the plug cavity, use a small drift, punch, or "L" shaped Allen wrench to pry out
plug. Retain plug for reinstallation.

CAUTION: NEVER PLACE ANY TOOL AGAINST THE MIXTURE SCREW DURING THIS OPERATION.

5.

Reinstall air cleaner assembly vacuum hoses, etc.

6.

Perform propane idle RPM adjustment per applicable service manual procedure.

7.

Reinstall concealment plug.
