Throttle Body Stay
4.
Remove the throttle body stay.
5.
Remove the four bolts securing the throttle body to the intake air plenum and remove the throttle body.
INSTALLATION
1.
Install a new gasket.
2.
Install the throttle body and torque the bolts, in a cross-pattern.
Torque value:
11 - 16 ft.lbs. (15 - 22 Nm)
3.
Torque the throttle body stay mounting bolts.
Torque value:
7 - 9 ft.lbs. (10 - 13 Nm)
4.
Reconnect the throttle cable (and cruise control cable, if equipped).
5.
Reconnect the intake air duct.
6.
For the initial adjustment of the throttle position sensor and the idle speed screw, refer to ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES.
