Remove evaporator unit in numbered sequence, noting the following:
1. Drain engine coolant.

2. Remove floor console as shown.
3. Remove instrument panel, refer to Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators/Instrument Panel/Service and Repair.
4. To prevent bolts from falling into blower assembly, set air selection damper to outside air introduction.
