Low Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
Low Pressure Cut-Off Switch
1. Completely discharge the refrigerant system.
2. Disconnect the boot like wire connector at the cut-off switch.
3. Using a sender unit socket wrench, rotate the low pressure cut off switch counterclockwise and remove the switch from the expansion H- valve.
To install: assure an adequate seal by using a small amount of thread sealing tape on the replacement switch and reverse steps 3 and 2. Then
evacuate the refrigerant system.
