Locate the lower rear corner tabs on each side of the cushion frame (Figure 2).

Using a suitable tool, bend the tabs away from the seat tracks (upward in car position) until the tabs have a minimum of 1/8" clearance to the side
reinforcements (containing the track mounting weld nuts) - (Figure 2).

11.

Reconnect the recliner to the seat back and install the recliner shields. Recliner mounting screws should be tightened to 250 inch pounds.

12.

Install the seat assembly into the vehicle.
