SYMPTOM/CONDITION
Intermittent tachometer operation, usually during cold ambient temperatures, may be due to loose connections at the instrument cluster printed circuit
board. The pins with the loose connection are the tachometer drive module pins, and the problem may be at either end of the pin (at drive module or at
pin-to-board crimp). To correct this condition a new printed circuit board has been released both for production and for the field. This board uses larger
tach drive pins for a tighter connection.
