Air Bag Control Module: Service and Repair
Air Bag Control Module (ACM) Replacement
AIR BAG CONTROL (ACM), REPLACE
1. Disarm air bag system as outlined under Air Bag System Disarming & Arming, then remove forward console or cover.

2. Remove five module screws, then lift module assembly up and rearward.
3. Disconnect wiring from module and remove module from vehicle.
4. Reverse procedure to install, using locating tab to position module and tightening new screws to specifications.
