Endgate Hinge Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the liftgate.
2. Open the endgate.
3. Disconnect the electrical harness from the endgate.

4. Remove the bolts from the endgate hinge to endgate.
5. Remove the endgate, with an assistant.

6. Remove the endgate nuts from the endgate hinge.
7. Remove the endgate hinge from the rear body panel.

Installation Procedure

1. Align the endgate hinge to the body rear end panel.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice   in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the endgate nuts to the endgate hinge.

Tighten the endgate nuts to 33 Nm (28 lb ft).
