Removal Procedure
1. Remove the front bucket seats. Refer toSeat Replacement - Bucket (See: Seats/Service and Repair/Seat Replacement - Bucket) in Seats.
2. Remove the rear seats. Refer to the following procedures in Seats:

3. Remove the rear seats anchor plate bezels. Refer to Carpet Trim Plate Replacement - Rear Floor (See: Carpet Trim Plate Replacement - Rear
Floor) .
4. Remove the rear cargo tray anchors, if equipped.
5. Remove the front floor console. Refer toConsole Replacement - Front Floor (Aztek) (See: Console/Service and Repair/Console Replacement -

Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
6. Remove the front and rear door sill plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Front (See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Door Sill Plate
Replacement - Front) and Door Sill Plate Replacement - Rear (See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Door Sill Plate Replacement - Rear) .
7. Remove the endgate sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Endgate (See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Door Sill Plate Replacement -
Endgate) .
8. Remove the front cowl trim panels. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Cowl Side (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Trim Panel Replacement -
Cowl Side) .
9. Remove the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Lower Center Pillar (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Trim

10. Remove the rear lower quarter trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Lower (Aztek) (See: Trim Panel/Service and

11. Remove the carpet from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
Caution: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as
the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.
