Volt Meter Gauge: Testing and Inspection
Component Diagnostic Tests - Gauge Cluster SSE & SSEI Models
With the Ignition Switch in RUN, connect a voltmeter between the positive and negative terminals of the Battery.
^ If the voltage reading on the test voltmeter is the same as the vehicle's Voltmeter, the vehicle's Voltmeter is OK.
^ If the voltage reading on the test voltmeter is different by more than several volts from the vehicle's Voltmeter, check the PNK/BLK (39) and
BLK/WHT (803) wires. If the wires are OK, replace the Instrument Cluster.
