Water Pump: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable and drain cooling system.
2.
Remove accessory drive belts.
3.
Disconnect lower radiator hose from water pump.
4.
Remove water pump attaching bolts and the pump.
5.
Reverse procedure to install. Apply a 1/8 inch bead of suitable sealer to pump sealing surface, and install pump before sealer dries.
