Fuel Pressure Test Port: Service and Repair

Fuel Rail Assembly

Removal:

NOTE:  Clean around the fuel pressure connection with GM X-30A or equivalent.

1.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.

Relieve the fuel system pressure, refer to MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELIEF.

3.

Remove the fuel pressure connection and seal.

INSTALLATION:

1.

Install a new seal on the fuel pressure connection.

2.

Install the fuel pressure connection in the fuel block, and tighten to 13.0 Nm (115.0 lb.in).
