Air Injection Control Valve: Testing and Inspection
High Vacuum Air Control Valve

1. Start engine and allow to reach normal operating temperature.
2. With engine idling, apply a minimum of 10 in Hg vacuum to high vacuum mode assembly. Air should divert to air cleaner. If not, replace control

valve.

Refer to the number stamped on the base of the switch or valve for calibrated switching or activation temperatures.
