Clutch Pedal Assembly: Adjustments

1.

Disconnect return spring from clutch fork.

2.

Rotate clutch lever and shaft assembly until clutch pedal is firmly seated against rubber bumper on dash brace.

3.

Push outer end of clutch fork rearward until release bearing lightly contacts diaphragm spring fingers.

4.

Disconnect lower pushrod from lever and shaft assembly and install it in gauge hole.

5.

Rotate fork rod finger tight until all lash has been removed from linkage.

6.

Remove swivel from gauge hole and install it in hole furthest from lever and shaft assembly.

7.

Install washers and retainer, then tighten locknut being careful not to change length of rod.

8.

Reconnect return spring and check pedal free travel. Free travel should be approximately 1.0 inch.
