About the G6
The G6 replaced the Grand Am for 2005 and was made until Pontiac closed in 2010. It shared GM's Epsilon platform with the Chevrolet Malibu and Saab 9-3, and a retractable-hardtop convertible was offered from 2006 to 2009.
