Installation Procedure

1. Install the OnStar module bracket.

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

2. Tighten the OnStar bracket bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

3. Install the communication interface module. Refer to Communication Interface Module Replacement   (See: Communication Interface Module

Replacement).

4. Install the right closeout panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side   (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /

Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair).
