16. Partially remove the rear window shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement.
17. Remove the headliner wire harness from the rear quarter panel.
18. Disconnect the sunroof electrical connector, if equipped.
19. If equipped, remove the sunroof finishing lace. Refer to Sunroof Finishing Lace Replacement (C3Y) Sunroof Finishing Lace Replacement (CF5).
20. Partially remove the door opening weatherstrips. Refer to Front Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement (Convertible) Front Door Opening
Weatherstrip Replacement (Coupe) Front Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement (Sedan) and Rear Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement.
Notice: Use care when removing or installing the headliner. Excessive bending will damage the headliner.
21. Remove the headliner from the vehicle through the rear passenger door.
Installation Procedure
1. If installing a new headliner, transfer the dome lamp and the console to the new headliner.
